    This restaurant is a gem. If you went to visit your tia in Oaxaca, she might prepare a mole negro as delicious as the one served here, not a hint of sweetness, just deep, dark chocolate and chiles that bring the large and well-cooked drumsticks to life. And if you went to visit your abuela in Hidalgo, you might be treated to a mole verde as rich and bursting with flavor. Excellent service and big, comfortable round booths make this my go-to spot in Salinas. I found the horchata too sweet but the cucumber and lime agua fresca was less sweet and very refreshing.

    delicious food. Highly recommend consome de barbacoa, clacoyos, and oaxacan mole.
